The UniShelter Modular Transitional Shelter (MTS) unit is a unique and sustainable solution designed for the challenges of humanitarian disaster relief.

The shelter unit is an integrated prefabricated semi-permanent building system which provides all the materials and fixings required to build accommodation for a single or multiple unit personal shelter.

The MTS units can be deployed quickly and easily, being dispatched to site 6 months to a year after an area has been hit by a natural disaster; then stored in readiness in locations prone to regular natural disasters.

The units have many medium to long term benefits over tents: This long lasting semi-permanent structure will be used many times over during its expected 30 year lifespan.

It is easy to dismantle and move to another site should demographic needs change significantly.

These modular units are made from welded steel and PVC panels can be quickly put in position on firm ground or a concrete pad. As they are built in a factory, once on site they fit together very quickly.
